Artist Statement
This piece reflects the emotional tension between relief and dread. The palette combines vibrant lime and electric blue to signify moments of relief against the heavy shadows of black and dark magenta representing dread. The contrasting colors interact in the top left, creating a visual sense of pressure from the bright section that tries to break through a darker, more oppressive mass. The 'corner_invasion' layout emphasizes an asymmetrical spread, embodying a struggle between the 'light' and 'weight', while the broken pixels introduce imperfections that suggest an ongoing conflict, echoing the seed's themes of contradiction and collision.
