Artist Statement
This artwork captures the emotional collisions of love and betrayal through the use of contrasting colors. The outer border in deep reds represents the passion associated with love, while the grayscale inner core suggests the coldness and confusion of betrayal. The pattern of warmth in the outer squares meets a structured grid in the center, simulating a clash between chaotic emotions and the tension of contained feelings. The introduction of broken pixels enhances the imperfections of human emotion and serves to create discord, contributing to an overall sense of unresolved pressure.
