Artist Statement
The emotional tone captures the struggle between longing and resolve. The selected palette of sepia, tan, dust gray, and faded blue creates a nostalgic feel, embodying both the warmth of hope and the coolness of past wounds. The main collision occurs at the center, where deep blues interrupt muted tans, representing the essence of tension. Broken pixels are distributed to symbolize imperfection and repair, enhancing the theme of internal conflict.
