Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional tension of longing against resolve through a stark juxtaposition of deep navy and bright single white. The center of the composition is densely packed with layered dots that convey longing, suggesting a yearning pull, while the structured stair-like forms in dim cyan provide a stark, resolute contrast, reflecting order against chaos. Central density is interrupted by quiet stretches of black, creating a push and pull that echoes the emotional themes in the seed. The chosen palette reinforces the stark contrast between isolation and the warmth of potential connection, inviting contemplation of distance and intimacy.
