Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a tension between desire (represented by saturated warm colors) and emptiness (cool muted tones). The palette employs hot coral and blood orange for a pulsating urgency, contrasted by charcoal and hollow blue to suggest the weight of restraint. The main collision is at the center, where desire bursts from a corner dominance, pushing against a structured grid of emptiness, creating an interplay of saturation and void. The broken pixels disrupt the fluidity, introducing intentional imperfections to embody the struggle of longing and containment.
