The emotional tone of 'awe vs terror' plays out in a coordinated chaos, contrasting the calm sepia tones with darker elements representing unease. The duality in the palette reflects the motif of broken memories with light and shadow fighting for space. This arrangement introduces tension through abrupt shifts—the warmer tans and grays push against the harsher blacks and blues, creating a wave-like vertical clash reminiscent of waves crashing and receding.
