Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects an interplay of vulnerability and strength, matched by a palette that embraces cool tones with soft contrasts. The selected colors—rain blue and soft cyan—represent calmness and vulnerability, while muted plum introduces an element of strength. The dominant presence of pale colors in the center signifies exposure, gradually giving way to darker edges, echoing themes of shelter and protection. The collision occurs at the center, where sparse pulse marks (vulnerability) interrupt the dense patchwork (strength), creating a visually striking contrast of soft and hard textures, thus translating the seed’s emotional complexities into an abstract pattern.
