Artist Statement
This artwork conveys the tension between control and surrender. The palette of lime, electric blue, black, and magenta suggests a mechanical emotion, reflective of structured stress and spontaneous release. The central area features saturated colors, representing an overloaded emotional core, while the edges incorporate softer tones to invite a sense of yielding. The collision occurs primarily at the center, where the control-driven lattice pattern meets the surrendering cracks, creating a visual heartbeat of tension to calm. Broken pixels introduce intentional disruption, enhancing the sense of imperfection and vulnerability inherent in the emotional themes explored.
