Artist Statement
The artwork embodies the emotional tension between panic and control through a stark contrast of colors and patterns. The black outer border represents the overwhelming weight of panic, while the pale blue inner core evokes a sense of calm control. The jagged edges create an interruption, emphasizing a collision between feelings, while the broken pixels add an element of imperfection, mirroring the chaos of an empty room turned chaotic.
