Artist Statement
The emotional tone derives from the juxtaposition of vulnerability and strength, manifesting in the dull warmth of blood orange and the coolness of hollow blue. The layout reflects stacked bands, with the central area representing stability contrasted against the chaotic fluctuations at the edges. The glitch pattern suggests disarray, while the quiet field evokes a sense of calmness. The main collision occurs in the middle, where the strength of solid, dark colors meets the outer, more vulnerable paler rings. Broken pixels scattered throughout add intentional imperfection, reinforcing the theme of tension between the two emotions.
