Artist Statement
The emotional tone contrasts the chaos of rage with the tranquility of calm, embodied in jagged and orderly patterns. The palette utilizes deep, aggressive reds and blacks against softer pale blues and whites, highlighting the tension between containment and overflow. The center of the grid features a chaotic collision of dot patterns representing rage, while its echoes softly play outwards with mirrored patterns of calm, illustrating their attempts to envelop each other. This narrative reflects the interconnectedness of emotions, where the sharper marks of rage burst against the serene boundaries of calm, creating a visual oscillation between turmoil and tranquility.
