Artist Statement
The emotional tone juxtaposes vulnerability and strength, created through contrasting areas of color. The chosen palette of pale mint, soft sky, storm gray, and near black reflects the softness of vulnerability against the harshness of strength. The main collision occurs in the center of the square, where a dense cluster of storm gray and near black evokes tension, while pale mint and soft sky float around the edges, suggesting fragility. This balance encapsulates the depth of emotion articulated through the seed's themes of break and blend.
