Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional tug-of-war between control and surrender. The palette combines the softness of powder pink and warm white to reflect feelings of surrender, contrasted sharply with the severity of carbon black and sharp crimson, representing control. The thick outlines suggest a locked border of pressure while the lighter hues spiral inward, creating a sense of tension.
