Artist Statement
The emotional tone is an interplay between confusion and clarity, reflected in the tension of clustered deep tones juxtaposed against sporadic lighter shades. The chosen palette—black, dark violet, soft gold, and pale green—intensifies feelings of uncertainty and hope. Central pixels in soft gold create an anchor, flowing outward, while dark, broken pixels convey a sense of fragmentation and disruption. The pattern of broken dots enhances the chaotic center, symbolizing clarity amid confusion, making it emerge from the surrounding darkness and fragmentation, inviting a reflection on the complexity of emotional states.
