Artist Statement
This composition explores the emotional tension between vulnerability and strength, using a palette of black, dark violet, soft gold, and pale green to create a contrast that underscores the themes of stability and fragility. The center is dominated by a strong, stable dark violet block, creating a visual anchor amidst the more ephemeral, soft hues of the edged rows. The black and soft gold represent both the starkness of vulnerability and the warmth of hope intertwined. A series of broken pixels disrupt the main flow, reflecting the inherent imperfections in both emotions. The composition's rhythm flows from the center outward, intersecting at the threshold of strength and vulnerability, allowing both to echo and overlap in a delicate balance.
