Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a struggle between restlessness and peace, expressed through an undulating interplay of colors. The palette combines warm coral and soft amber for warmth and connection, while cold slate and blue-black introduce shadow and depth. The layout creates a sense of hollow contrast, with light edging dark in a disruptive flow. The primary collision occurs in the center, creating a jagged transition from swirling restlessness in the outer bands to the calmer inner core, symbolizing the dual nature of memory and motion. Broken pixels disrupt symmetry, offering a surreal quality akin to fading memories, while not overwhelming the overall balance that peace seeks.
