Artist Statement
The emotional tone captures the struggle of clarity amid chaos. The palette's deep navy and black evoke depth and isolation, while bright dim cyan punctuates the rhythmic pulse of isolated signals. The contrast is predominantly between dense noise areas (characterized by random threads of dark hues) and the clear, structured signals (illustrated by crosshatch patterns), predominantly occupying the center of the square. Broken pixels add the imperfect tension of static, interrupting the order and evoking sound after silence. The overall composition reflects a layered experience of both memory and noise, echoing the concept of exposure versus shelter.
