Artist Statement
This composition embodies the dynamic tension between the densely packed colors representing 'pressure' on the left and the more diffused hues suggesting 'quiet' on the right. The palette, blending muted off-whites and soft peaches with a stark compressed red and dark navy, creates a visual conversation that reflects both conflict and harmony. The left side explodes with color density while the right gently recedes, illustrating a clash of hard edges with soft horizons. The central collision is accentuated by broken pixels that disrupt the flow, suggesting fragmentation but also a release into expansive space. This pattern tells the story of emotional negotiation between confinement and liberation.
