Artist Statement
The emotional tone is a juxtaposition of longing and resolve. The palette features warm tones for the longing aspect, contrasting with deeper cools to represent resolve. The arrangement mimics falling pixels - capturing both the descent of longing and the ascent of resolve, with a prominent collision at the center where warm coral interrupts the cool expanses, symbolizing emotional tension. The quiet spaces provide openness while broken pixels introduce imperfections reflective of emotional scars.
