Artist Statement
The composition reflects the emotional tension between 'safety' and 'exposure.' The use of cool colors like pale skin and cold white represents exposure, while warm brown and shelter green provide a sense of safety. The main contrast occurs at the center, where the 'braid' pattern overlaps with the 'maze,' creating an intentional collision that suggests a struggle between protection and vulnerability. The structure creates an echo effect towards the right, enhancing the flow, while fragments of broken pixels symbolize the flaws and imperfections inherent in both emotional states.
