Artist Statement
This artwork captures the emotional tone of tension and release through contrasting colors. It begins with deep, muted blacks and grays representing underlying pressure. As the scene progresses horizontally and vertically, sharp accents of bright colors (yellows and reds) erupt like bursts of emotion amidst the quiet densities. The placement creates a rhythm, guiding the eye from calm regions into areas of collision, embodying the quiet interjections and intense bursts positioned throughout.
