Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a dance between longing and resolve, embodying a compressed tension across the canvas. I chose a palette of navy, black, dim cyan, and white to convey both the depth of longing and the clarity of resolve, contrasting muted hues with sharp edges. The main collision occurs centrally, where the 'broken_line' subtly interrupts the flow of 'falling_pixels', fostering a narrative of repair amidst damage. This interplay between strong boundaries and quiet spaces represents the struggle and serenity inherent in longing and resolution.
