Artist Statement
This piece captures the emotional tension between loneliness and connection. The chosen palette of pink, red, gray, and dark maroon conveys both warmth and a sense of betrayal inherent in connection. The top half represents 'loneliness,' with noise patterns contrasting with empty spaces, while the bottom half embodies 'connection' through a more vibrant, stair-like arrangement. The main collision occurs where the transition between the two emotions takes place, with the dark tones softly invading the lighter shades. The seed's themes shaped the abstract pattern by emphasizing the struggle between empty isolation and the pulsing warmth of interaction.
