Artist Statement
The emotional tone of the artwork reflects a tension between safety and exposure, where the color palette emphasizes contrasts in warmth and coolness to represent vulnerability and protection. The chosen palette includes shelter green for safety, warm brown for comfort, pale skin as vulnerability, cold white for exposure, and open blue for freedom. The main collision occurs in the central area featuring a soft green frame contrasting with a pale center, reminiscent of being both shielded and exposed. This layout leverages negative space to symbolize openness while the structured patterns suggest movement and disruption, thereby interpreting the seed's theme as an abstract narrative of emotional duality.
