Artist Statement
This artwork captures the emotional interplay between fear and hope, using a palette of black, dark violet, soft gold, and pale green to symbolize depth and illumination. The use of dark colors corresponds to the looming presence of fear, while the brighter tones suggest glimmers of hope amidst pressure. The pattern flows diagonally upward, reflecting an escape from density towards release. Broken pixels create an imperfect surface, amplifying the tension between stable and unstable elements, allowing the viewer to experience the collision of contrasting emotions without literal representation.
