Artist Statement
This composition explores the emotional tension between longing and resolve. The palette blends warm ivory and deep wine tones to evoke intimacy and depth, contrasted with ash gray to accentuate moments of emptiness. The diagonal stripes symbolize longing, creating a dynamic that stretches across the square, while the echo patterns in soft gold represent resolve, flowing through the negative spaces.
