Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a struggle between clarity and chaos, with the palette of signal green and electric blue contrasting against the darker tones of static gray and dead black. The layout places static colors in the outer border to represent noise, while the inner 4x4 square pulses with the bright signals of green and blue. The main collision occurs in the center where noise interrupts the signal, echoing the underlying tension between exposure and shelter. Broken pixels introduce a sense of disruption, highlighting the scars of memory and erasure that linger beneath the surface, manifesting through jagged interruptions in the otherwise smooth flow.
