Artist Statement
This composition embodies the emotional clash between vulnerability and strength, represented through a split layout. The left side uses softer tones to depict vulnerability with a pattern of quiet fields, while the right side employs strong, thicker lines in deeper colors to reflect strength. The collision occurs centrally, where the patterns intersect, illustrating the tension between exposure and shelter.
