Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a duel between control and surrender, using a palette of cool and warm colors to signify contrasting states. The outer edges represent the control with a dense arrangement of darker colors, while the inner 4x4 core releases energy through lighter tones, suggesting surrender. The main collision occurs in the center, where the colors violently interact, creating a sense of disturbance. This clash embodies the essence of control struggling against the overflow of release. The use of broken pixels introduces intentional imperfections, mimicking the inevitable disruptions in the balance of these emotions.
