Artist Statement
The emotional tone contrasts joy and grief, encapsulated in a dichotomy of bright yellows and oranges against deep blues and purples. The palette reflects joy as radiant sparks and grief as muted shadows, accentuating the struggle between light and darkness. The grid pattern generating from the center represents joy, while fragmented placements of darker colors echo grief, creating tension. The left-weighted distribution further emphasizes the imbalance, and the broken pixels introduce imperfection, symbolizing the emotional conflicts expressed in the seed.
