Artist Statement
The emotional tone explores the duality of strength and vulnerability, embodied through contrasting warm and cool colors. The palette balances warm coral and soft amber, representing strength, against the cold slate and blue-black, evoking vulnerability. The central 4x4 grid symbolizes pressure, interrupted by jagged edges resembling scars from strength colliding with vulnerability at the core. The design intentionally includes broken pixels, contributing to the emotional tension while preserving a 10% negative space to signify an open emotional landscape.
