Artist Statement
The emotional tone captures a balance between longing and resolve, signifying an inner struggle between desire and stability. The palette, featuring soft pinks and stark blacks, embodies the softness of yearning contrasted against the severity of determined strength. The main collision occurs in the center, where the maze-like patterns of longing (in pinks) clash with the noise of resolve (in grays and blacks), creating a vibrant tension that invites the viewer to explore feelings of distance and intimacy. The broken pixels add unique disruptions, enhancing the sense of unresolved motion within the piece.
