Artist Statement
This composition captures the emotional tension between love and betrayal through a palette of pinks and dark maroons. The contrast between the warm tones and the deep, shadowy colors evokes a narrative of warmth abruptly challenged by cold shards of betrayal. The layout spreads diagonally, visually demonstrating the encroachment of chaos into a space initially dominated by order—whilst the broken edges suggest the inherent imperfections in the emotional spectrum. The distributed broken pixels introduce subtle interruptions to a primarily calm structure, reinforcing the theme of fractures within relationships.
