Artist Statement
This artwork captures the emotional conflict between restlessness and peace. The palette of shelter green, warm brown, pale skin, cold white, and open blue reflects nature's calming tones against abrupt disturbances, establishing a foundation for the duality. The dense center suggests an overwhelming mass of memory and motion (green and brown), while the fading edges (pale skin and cold white) evoke a sense of tranquility, symbolizing the struggle to maintain peace amidst chaos. The collision arises where these emotions overlap, giving rise to an unsettling equilibrium. Broken pixels introduce imperfections, representing scars of memory in the midst of fluidity, adding depth to the narrative.
