Artist Statement
This artwork explores emotional tension between loneliness and connection through contrasting colors and placement. The palette blends warm yellows and oranges representing connection with cool, muted purples and deep blues reflecting loneliness. The main contrast occurs between the center heavy edge style, where warmer colors invade from the corners, symbolizing connection pushing against the calm, hollow spaces. The broken pixels disrupt solid color fields, introducing imperfections that reflect fragmented memories and emotions, inviting the viewer to meditate on the essence of human connection and isolation.
