Artist Statement
The emotional tone captures the delicate balance between vulnerability and strength. The palette of black, dark violet, soft gold, and pale green represents the dichotomy of stable and broken – with darker tones encapsulating strength and lighter shades suggesting vulnerability. The main contrast occurs centrally where thick frames of dark colors meet fragile threads of soft gold and pale green, creating a dynamic interruption that symbolizes the push and pull between these feelings. The split horizontal layout visually emphasizes this emotional battle, with the top half embodying strength's stability and the bottom half embracing vulnerability's fluidity.
