Artist Statement
This composition explores the tension between defiance and submission through the juxtaposition of warm and cool colors, primarily utilizing orange and muted purple to reflect intensity against softness. The main collision occurs at the center, where the patchwork of opposing colors creates a feeling of struggle amidst turmoil, while the yellow sparks in the corners signify moments of invasion, drawing the eye outward.
