Artist Statement
This 8x8 composition embodies the tension between longing and resolve through a blend of warm and cool colors. The palette draws from 'guilt_forgiveness', with soft gold and deep wine representing the warmth of longing, while ash gray evokes resolve’s stability. The main collision occurs centrally, where the more vibrant hues wrestle with quieter shades, creating a dynamic pulse akin to a heartbeat. The lattice and teeth patterns interplay to reflect the emotional duality, while intentional broken pixels serve as reminders of fractures in experience, enhancing the narrative of repair and damage.
