Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a push and pull between the chaotic stranglehold of panic and the soothing, yet potentially oppressive nature of control. The palette of red, black, pale blue, and white embodies this conflict—red for panic's intensity, balanced by the calmness of pale blue and starkness of black and white, which gives a sense of rigid structure. The arrangement encourages a dense top weight, with colors radiating downward, symbolizing an orbiting sensation of tension. The collision occurs in the dynamic interplay of sharp contrasts where the black and red create a stark drama in contrast with the lighter pale blue, echoing the inner turmoil represented in the seed's themes.
