Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the tension between clarity and chaos, where signals are intermittently drowned in noise. The palette of navy, black, and dim cyan evokes a sense of aloneness, while the interspersed white signifies moments of clarity and breakthrough amidst turmoil. The corner invasion layout allows the dominant navy to surge diagonally from the corner, representing a bold presence against a backdrop of static and interruption. Broken pixels create intentional disruptions, reminding us that memory is imperfect and often fragmented. The overall composition maintains a readable structure while emphasizing the emotional undercurrents of interference and clarity, highlighting the struggle between defined signals and the muffled echoes of noise.
