Artist Statement
The emotional tone encapsulates a juxtaposition of deep yearning (longing) and steadfast determination (resolve). The palette of lime, electric blue, and magenta introduces a vibrancy that contradicts the black, representing the weight of unresolved feelings. The pattern utilizes a split-screen technique where longing flows in gentle gradients (light colors on the left) conflicts with the strong, defined structure of resolve (dark colors on the right). The collision of colors occurs in the center, where a burst of magenta meets the lime, symbolizing a fragile bridge between the two emotions, echoing the notions of repair amidst damage.
