Artist Statement
This piece captures the emotional duality of loneliness and connection through balanced colors and spatial contrasts. The palette incorporates muted purples and deep blues, evoking melancholy yet suggesting warmth through the use of yellow and orange accents. The main collision occurs between the dense left side and the sparse right, highlighting the struggle between isolation and the desire for connection. Broken pixels introduce imperfections, reflecting the fragmented nature of memories associated with both states. The radial pattern represents the echo of loneliness, while dots signify attempts at connection, swirling in a clockwise motion, adding dynamism to the composition.
