Artist Statement
This composition reflects the emotional tension between longing and resolve. The muted palette of sepia, tan, and dust gray establishes a nostalgic yet urgent atmosphere, while the faded blue introduces a cool contrast, acting as both a calm and an emergent element. The collision occurs centrally, where the longing represented by fault lines intersects with the structured broken dots of resolve, creating a dynamic push-pull.
