Artist Statement
This composition explores the tension between certainty, represented by the bold blacks and structured echo patterns on the left, and curiosity, illustrated by the lighter, broken colors and ash-like textures on the right. The palette, combining dark blacks and vibrant electric blues with accents of magenta and lime, emphasizes the contrast between order and chaos. The collision occurs at the division between the left and right halves, echoing the push and pull of emotion—certainty solidifies yet leaves space for the vibrant curiosity to bloom. The broken pixels add an element of disruption, reflecting the tension between structured order and the allure of the unknown.
