Artist Statement
This artwork explores the tension between vulnerability and strength through color and form. The palette of cosmic indigo, void black, star white, cold gold, and deep teal evokes a sense of awe mixed with terror, suggesting depth and complexity. The main collision occurs in the center, where dense, warm colors (representing strength) collide with cooler, softer tones (representing vulnerability), creating an emotional echo. The structured flow of stacked bands heightens the feeling of density against open space, while the strategic distribution of broken pixels introduces an element of imperfection, enhancing the narrative of strength under pressure and vulnerability in exposure.
