Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a push and pull between longing and resolve, represented through warm coral and soft amber colliding with cold slate and blue-black. The arrangement has dense clusters of warm tones on one side, creating a sense of intimacy, while the cool colors on the opposite end introduce a quiet, empty space. The interaction between the two is abrupt, illustrating a cross-current of feelings. The shape seed of 'keyhole' informs the use of patterns that intersect and disrupt the overall flow, forming an abstract narrative of emotional conflict.
