Artist Statement
The emotional tone explores the conflict between fleeting sparks of vibrancy (representing hope and potential) and the settling nature of ash (indicating loss and restraint). I chose a palette of electric blue and magenta as the accent colors to represent the vibrant spark, contrasting against black and gray shades that symbolize the ash's quiet heaviness and memory. The composition centers around a diagonal interaction between light and dark, creating a collision of energies that plays out through overlapping patterns. The layout’s mirror effect is disrupted intentionally, creating a sense of chaos amidst order. Overall, the pixel arrangement mirrors the struggle and resilience against the backdrop of fragility, captured through disrupted symmetry and delicate emotional clashes.
