Artist Statement
The artwork captures the emotional tension between rage and calm through contrasting color placement. The black and deep red signify the explosive, compressed state of rage, while the pale blue and white represent calmness with their soft ripples. The main collision occurs diagonally, where the vibrant dots of rage intrude upon the quiet fields of calm, evoking a sense of disturbance within tranquility. This duality of containment versus overflow is visualized through irregular patterns that express an internal struggle, utilizing broken pixels to represent the imperfections of emotion.
