Artist Statement
The emotional tone captures the duality of rage and calm through contrasting colors. The black and red represent rage, while the pale blue and white convey calmness. The outer rows reflect heavy darkness, creating a frame of 'weight,' while the inner rows transition into a split-screen of lighter, softer colors, symbolizing serenity. The jagged red stripes cutting through the calm blue bands create an explosive collision, echoing the struggle between these emotions.
