Artist Statement
This composition captures the emotional tension between panic and control through a playful juxtaposition of vibrant and dark hues. The dark base of the palette, consisting of black and deep magenta, signifies instability and chaos, while bright electric blue and lime represent moments of clarity and control. The layout of pixels creates a dynamic diagonal flow, with the left side suggesting upward movement representing hope and stability, while the right side introduces a downward trend that evokes feelings of turmoil. To enhance the sense of imperfection, several pixels are placed strategically to mimic broken elements, adding to the thematic tension of the artwork, which feels both fragmented and cohesive.
